I just finished one done a loom. I recommend a 5/8″ gauge loom and either the u-knit or true knit stitch. You should knit a gauge swatch to see which knit stitch gives you the same stitches/inch listed in the pattern. The uknit worked for me. The hat is just a flat panel and the only tricky part is the colorwork for the white eyes. Let me know if I can help!
