Hi, Daliah. I double checked the original pattern. Based on the gauge listed in the pattern a cast of 36 sts gave them a scarf 7″ wide. If you’re looking to go wider than that, a good guideline is that each 6 stitch repeat you add will give you an additional 1.2″ in width. I hope this helps!
