Hi! I am Twisha. I am a supermom to two little boys, an entrepreneur, a hobby crusader, and a dancer.
Full disclosure, I am not an expert knitter. I learnt knitting back in school when I was 10, with size 2 knitting needles and weight 1 yarn (for the newbies here, it is super dainty stuff, something I won’t be able to use well today, wonder how I did it then!).
I knitted a small scarf, got an A grade and then never knitted again until I had my baby and there has been no looking back since. Knitting has provided me a wonderful way to relax after a busy day of work and motherhood. People who knit for a hobby swear by its benefits.
The journey of re-learning knitting was a bumpy ride to say the least. I was lost, wasted a lot of money, made a lot of mistakes, and spent 25 days on something I could have learnt in 25 minutes if done right.
Talking to friends and family and creating some social media chatter revealed to me that there are many out in the world in the same boat – they want to learn knitting but they don’t know where to start.
Knit Easily is my endeavor to help people pick up knitting, advance their knitting skills, and enjoy this beautiful craft. You will find everything you need to know to start and then continue advancing on your knitting journey.
